Fall 2013 Highland Trial News

We just had the Summer meeting for the Fall 2013 trial and the dates are set as September 14-15th at the Highland Field trial grounds.  This year as in the past we will offer an Open Puppy, Shooting Dog, Derby also Amateur Derby and Shooting Dog and if Time permits also a Open Horseback Shooting dog.

Details will follow for Judges and activities also a posting from the American Field will be copied here.

Association of Michigan Field Trial Clubs annual meeting July 14th

Mark your calendars for July 14th, in the deep woods of the Historical and Famous Gladwin Trial grounds, the Association of Michigan Field Trial Clubs will hold their annual meeting for Horseback, Coverdog and Walking venues.  At the meeting years past and future topics will be discussed and debated.  

Also, "Dog of the Year" and USCSDA Plaques will be presented.  Following the meeting a steak dinner will keep everyone interested till the end for photographs

Wolverine Field Trial Club 36th Running Spring Trial 2013

Listed below are the results for the Spring 2013 Wolverine Field Trial Clubs 36th Running at the Highland Field Trial Grounds in Highland Michigan.  The trial was run May 11th and the 12th under various weather conditions The Trial President Oliver DeLuca put on a great trial which brought people from all over to compete in both horseback and walking venues.

USCSDA Spring Open Walking Derby

On Friday April 26th at the Highland Trial grounds, in Highland Michigan held a Open walking Field trial under the USCSDA judgement.  the Judges were Bill Branham and Leann Parrnell.  There was 22 dogs drawn under sunny sky's.  Listed below are the placement winners.

1st.  One Shot Remington       O/H  Hilla/Hilla
2nd. Indian Creek Olive Oil    O/H  Cavanaugh/Malzone
3rd.  Rich's Smack'in Sam       O/H  Trumbly/Minard

USCSDA Great Lakes Walking Championship

The Great Lakes Walking Championship for USCSDA ran this past weekend at the Highland Field Trial Grounds under changing weather extremes.  There was 45 dogs drawn and a Champion and RU Champion was named.
